I survived!

I can't believe it's been over a week since I've blogged last! I was super busy with birthday plans and school and everything so blogging took the back burner recently. I obviously survived my birthday - without getting sick, I might add. I didn't even need assistance walking out of the bar. In the words of my roommate "It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting". My only problem is that I talk a lot (even when I'm sober) so Lord only knows what was said that night. There was a "thank you for putting up with me/ sorry for anything I may have said" text that was sent out to all of my friends the next morning.
 My roomie and I planned a super fun Cinco de Mayo themed pre-party which included a pinata, pin the tail on the donkey, chips and salsa, and tacos. It was such a hit that we're considering making it a tradition! She still hasn't uploaded any pictures from that night so I don't have too many to share with you right now (and my camera has been broken since spring break) but here's a few that I have so far....

Jamie is a younger Theta who has a birthday a day after me so she came over to celebrate for a while as well.

Obviously none of us were ready for this picture. It's totally disgusting yet we love it and it's even posted on facebook with the caption "the happiest girls are the prettiest girls".

Also, I unfortunately did not get to go to the Derby this year (which really made me mad because I had my dress and hat ughh). My friends had to back out because it was too expensive (which I totally agree with/understand). I can't get mad at them for that because it really was pretty pricey. However, I still wish I had been there, but I guess we'll all just have to start saving for next year!

I'm so swamped with everything that I have to do this week but I'm so excited for the weekend. We're going on our Spring Sisterhood trip and this year we'll be visiting our sorority's headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. This weekend is always so fun because we do a senior sendoff, get senior superlatives, and give our "moms" (our version of bigs) presents.
